Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd. was established in 1991 under the name Shenyang Limin Switch Factory. In 1996, to adapt to market changes, expand sales channels, and enhance brand recognition, the company formed a horizontal alliance with the former Shenyang Special Transformer Factory. It was renamed Shenyang Special Transformer Factory Branch No. 1, operating as a private enterprise without any substantive affiliation. In 2003, following the dissolution of Shenyang Special Transformer Factory, the relationship ended, and the branch was reorganized into Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd., becoming an entirely independent legal entity. Today, it is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, design, and manufacturing of special transformers.
Originally located at No. 3 Yulin Road, Linsheng Town, Sujiatun District, Shenyang, the company relocated in 2005 due to rapid growth and space constraints. A new facility was built in the Linsheng Electrical Industrial Park, a hub for equipment manufacturing in Sujiatun District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The new site, completed in 2006, spans over 33,000 square meters, including 21,000 square meters of factory space. With a registered capital of 100 million yuan, the company employs over 380 staff, including more than 10 senior and 20 intermediate technical professionals. Its annual production capacity reaches 5,000 MVA, with the capability to develop and manufacture a wide range of power and special transformers up to 110 kV. Key products include:
110 kV and below: Oil-immersed power transformers, furnace transformers, rectifier transformers, and distribution transformers.
35 kV and below: Combined substations for wind power generation, epoxy and impregnated dry-type transformers, special dry-type transformers, and transformer radiator components.
Fulin provides comprehensive system solutions and products tailored to meet the diverse needs of domestic and international clients in industries such as power systems, coal, chemicals, and metallurgy. Its products serve over 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China, as well as markets in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
As the company grew, a dedicated R&D center was established, staffed by experienced senior and intermediate technical professionals. Many have received training from renowned international enterprises and possess extensive industry experience. Utilizing advanced computer-aided design (CAD) systems and optimization software, the center has developed proprietary products and processes that incorporate leading domestic and international technologies. These innovations meet international IEC standards and have resulted in 114 national patents, including 6 invention patents.
By 2011, the company had over 200 advanced production and testing equipment units, ensuring precise manufacturing processes and accurate test data that comply with various standards and technical agreements.
Fulin employs advanced information management systems, such as OA, to integrate professional management and technical resources. This approach ensures efficient, robust, and adaptable operations, enhancing the company's overall manufacturing capabilities and providing a solid foundation for product development and production.
In 2008, the company passed the GB/T19001-2000 idt ISO9001:2000 quality management system certification. Adhering to strict quality control measures, Fulin's quality policy emphasizes survival through quality, development through technology, efficiency through management, and customer trust through integrity. II. Administrative Organization
1.Shenyang Limin Switch Factory (1991–1995)
Established in 1991 at No. 3 Yulin Road, Linsheng Town, the factory was a private enterprise primarily producing miniature transformers and low-voltage switches. Initially, it had only about 10 employees, with a single manager overseeing operations. Due to market challenges, the factory ceased operations by the end of 1995.
2.Shenyang Special Transformer Factory Branch No. 1 (1996–2003)
In 1996, Shenyang Special Transformer Factory Branch No. 1 was established at the original site of Shenyang Limin Switch Factory. Operating as a private enterprise under the leadership of Wei Fulin, the branch formed a horizontal alliance with Shenyang Special Transformer Factory, a collective enterprise specializing in special transformers. The alliance aimed to leverage market opportunities, enhance technical and managerial capabilities, and improve market visibility. This partnership lasted until 2003, when Shenyang Special Transformer Factory dissolved, ending the collaboration.
3.Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd. (2003–Present)
Following the dissolution of Shenyang Special Transformer Factory, the branch was reorganized into Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd. in February 2003. Wei Fulin served as the legal representative, with Han Zhutian as Chief Engineer and Wei Jinlan as Chief Accountant. Over the past 30 years, the company has transformed from a small family-owned business into a large-scale enterprise, making significant contributions to the development of the national power industry and economic construction. Today, Fulin is a renowned transformer manufacturer both regionally and nationally.
