Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd. was established in 1991, initially named Shenyang Limin Switch Factory. In 1996, to adapt to market changes, expand sales channels, and enhance corporate reputation, the company formed a horizontal alliance with the former Shenyang Special Transformer Factory and was renamed Shenyang Special Transformer Branch No. 1. Although structured as a private enterprise, there was no substantive subordinate relationship between the two entities. In 2003, Shenyang Special Transformer Factory was dissolved, ending the relationship between the two. Shenyang Special Transformer Branch No. 1 was then renamed Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd., becoming a fully independent legal entity. It has since evolved into a high-tech specialized manufacturer of special transformers, integrating research, design, and manufacturing.
The company was originally located at No. 3 Yulin Road, Linsheng Town, Sujiatun District, Shenyang. In 2005, due to rapid business development, the original production site could no longer meet the company's expansion needs. A new factory was built on additional land in the Linsheng Electrical Industrial Park, Sujiatun District, Shenyang—a base for the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province. The construction was completed in 2006, and the company relocated entirely to the new address at No. 70 Qingzhou Street, Sujiatun District.
The new plant covers an area of over 33,000 square meters, with a workshop building area exceeding 21,000 square meters. The company has a registered capital of 100 million yuan and employs more than 380 staff, including over 10 senior professional technicians and more than 20 intermediate professional technicians. With an annual production capacity of 5,000 MVA, the company possesses comprehensive capabilities in the research, development, and manufacturing of various power and special transformers up to 110 kV.

With the continuous development of the enterprise, the company's Technology Research and Development Center was established. Composed of senior and intermediate technical personnel with years of design and development experience, many of whom have received training from large well-known foreign enterprises and possess extensive industry experience domestically, the center employs advanced computer-aided design (CAD) systems and development software for optimized design. By integrating and leveraging leading domestic and international technologies, the company has developed unique products and manufacturing processes with advanced economic and technical indicators. Key performance metrics meet the requirements of the international IEC standards. The Technology R&D Center has obtained 114 national patents for independent intellectual property, including 6 invention patents.
By 2011, the company possessed over 200 sets of advanced production and inspection equipment, with excellent processing and manufacturing techniques ensuring accurate inspection data that complied with various standards and technical agreement requirements.

Administrative History
Shenyang Limin Switch Factory was established in 1991 at No. 3 Yulin Road, Linsheng Town, as a private enterprise. Its main products were micro-transformers and low-voltage switches. In its initial stage, the factory had only over ten employees, with only the factory manager responsible for management. It ceased operations by the end of 1995 due to market reasons.
In 1996, Shenyang Special Transformer Branch No. 1 was established at the original site of Shenyang Limin Switch Factory. It operated as a private enterprise, with Wei Fulin serving as the factory manager. Shenyang Special Transformer Factory was a collective enterprise in the Shenyang area, primarily engaged in the production of special transformers. The relationship between Shenyang Special Transformer Factory and its Branch No. 1 was a horizontal business collaboration, with no substantive subordinate relationship. The main reasons for establishing the branch factory were: firstly, the special transformer market was highly promising at the time; secondly, the enterprise lacked recognition and the ability to expand the market in its early stages; and thirdly, it faced shortages in technology, craftsmanship, and management expertise. Through this collaboration, the enterprise achieved significant development until the dissolution of Shenyang Special Transformer Factory in 2003, which marked the end of this horizontal alliance.
In February 2003, following the dissolution of Shenyang Special Transformer Factory, Shenyang Special Transformer Branch No. 1 was renamed Shenyang Fulin Special Transformer Co., Ltd., with Wei Fulin as the legal representative, Han Zhutian as the chief engineer, and Wei Jinlan as the chief accountant. It became a fully independent private enterprise. Over the past 30 years since its establishment, the company has undergone tremendous transformations, evolving from an obscure family business into a large-scale enterprise today. Throughout the years, the company has made indelible contributions to the development of the national power industry and economic construction, establishing itself as a renowned transformer manufacturer both regionally and nationally.
